Black/African music has been part of China since the Shang Dynasty (2200 - 1100 BC and the southern Chinese Black kingdoms ( 2800 BC to 400 AD). The Black kingsoms of China were attacked by the Chou ( 1100 BC) and the Qin ( 300 - 400 AD).
During the 1960's to the present, African music from West Africa, East Africa and Central Africa have been popular in China. Today, hip-hop is becoming popular in China and if the Chinese dialects that are similar to African dialects (with the tonality and 'lilting' form of speech), are used in rapping, THE CHINESE RAPPERS HAVE AN EASY TME USING RAP.
Trade between Africa and China goes back over 5,000 years -- TO A TIME WHEN MUCH OF SOUTHERN CHINA AND INDO-CHINA WAS OCCUPIED BY BLACK PEOPLE AND BLACK KINGDOMS.
Trade between Melanesia and Africa goes back over 10,000 years. The banana trade between East Africa and Melanesia (the BLACK/NEGROID INHABITED ISLANDS OF THE PACIFIC) dates to about 5000 BC, according to an article in ARCHEOLOGY magazine.
