Jay & Nas have become the new BDK & KRS in dat dey are no longer relevant to the game
Both these Mummys have no original thought left. I can remember back when MASS numbers of people would be highly anticipating a Nas or Jay album. No one really gives a sh!t that either one's droppin next month. Everyones lke eh.
No one is debatng the factn that they make good/bad music. They are just non factors to the game. Remember back when Jay could spit one line and start a new trend? 30's the new 20 my ass.
These 2 dinasours in the game need to hang it up.

They really ain't relevant anymore. Doesn't matter though Nas still makes better music than most of the new cats.

unrelevant to which age range??
10-21 or 22-40??
is Jerry Garcia and Jimi Hendrix illrelevant to Rock heads?? No
only in hiphop do we care about the opinions of little kids... which is why nobody takes us seriously as an artform
How can they be irrelevant when they still outsell those who are supposed to be relevant?

Jerry and Jimi couldn't write a verse the way Jay does or paint a picture like Nas ...
and Jay and Nas couldn't do what they did with their guitars...
but they were both the best at what they did
only a white musty arab crkka like u ..would think otherwise

It's funny, Jay and Nas are irrlevant and yet people cant keep them out of their mouths. From Top 5 lists to Jim Jones thinking about him everytime he makes a move.
So why is it as soon as somebody decides that someone needs to fall off, they make up mystical terms like them not being hot "in the streets" or not being relevant to the "game". What game? The reason being that people like to quantify and hate isn't exactly quantifiable.
So who's relevant? What's the game? Making a cool new dance lol?

So what?
So who's dropping the same quarter as Jay and Nas that's more relevant? I doubt you could name anyone. Kanye and 50 shine time is over, their products are released.

so who's the new leaders in rap...
Soulja Boy??
Mimms???
Rich boy???
Lil Wayne???
cause I can tell you right now...I've been listening to Nas and Hov they whole career and there ain't a new n*gga that has dropped that can f*ck with them...they legacy has already been certified....I swear you lil 15 and 16 year old n*ggas think that sh*t like "I"m well respected like a Bear claw" is a hot line...kill yo self fam and step yo hip hop game up cause there is more to talk about then different color of "insert popular hip hop ride here" or how much ice you wearing or how many goons I got that clap n*ggas or more fake coke talk...

Oh the irony of this statement. It's 2007 and Hov is STILL rhyming about slangin rocks and Nas is still rhyming about his chains.
WOWserz.

Nygga, you don't deserve to have James Evan anywhere near anything you write saying dumb shyt like this.
The only irony in what you said is that Hov is rhyming about peddlin' rock better than anyone else and chances are that if Nas rhymed about his chain, there are only like 3 emcees that could do it better.
And the real irony is that these two beasts are rhyming about way more shyt that crack and chains, fool.
They ain't 80's babies; they are 80's nyggas. Peep the difference. 80's babies learned how to rhyme from Jay, 2pace, Biggie and Nass. Biggie, 2pace, Nas and Jay learned technique from KRS, Rakim, Scarface and Kane and they learned how to make albums from the nyggas out west like Cube, NWA, DOC and Snoop. That's why they so dope. Jay and Nas ain't going nowhere. Hip Hop has changed but anyone who feels the music knows that Nas and Jay are still the anchors of this generation.
