View Full Version : Here goes my boxing workout:3 hours 6 days per week

Monday thru Saturday:
5 rounds of jump rope
6 rounds shadowboxing
5 rounds double end bag
6 rounds heavybag
5 rounds speedbag
3 rounds of sparring 2 times per week and pad work on the off days
then:
bench press 4 sets 8 reps
military press 4 sets 8 reps
curl 4 sets 8 reps
triceps kickback 4 sets 8 reps
pull-ups 4 sets 20 reps

im bout to go into the golden gloves in march so i need to be training hard
and sparring more but i aint doing no roadwork right now so i need to be at least doing wind sprints or something

What weight class?


If you're anything under a heavyweight I'd say dont even bother lifting weights, replace that with pushups/dips/pull ups and do exercises that allow for a wide range of motion from different angles.

i am at heavyweight 201 pound weight limit but i came up from light heavyweight so i gotta have some extra strength for theses real heavyweights coming down from 240 and shiit with natural strength
