Motherf*cker took canibus under one arm, ripped his f*cking head off (his stans and LL haters were MAD and still are, thats the original unending battle due to stans)
Then he proceeds to rip Mike Tyson's head off...and everyone heard this joint cause it came with "Its Dark and Hell is Hot" (Survival of the Illest Promo CD)

lol Canibus in his prime is better than Jay-Z right now. LL might win tho, and if he does Jay-Z will no longer be the GOAT imo and Nas will usurp the throne. but yeah Canibus beat LL. but LL has a better track record than Jay when it comes to battles.

...the only way Jay-Z is winning this is due to young heads not giving LL his proper credit and respect. That old "Reasonable Doubt/ Vol. 1" Jay-Z would be victorious over LL (because he could bite Biggie's verses and flip them)...this now corporate "Kingdom Come" Jay-Z version (who will get called out for biting verses) ain't fukking with an obviously pissed-off LL.
...Canibus lost.

True. What you forget though is that while the now corporate Jay_Z might not be able to bring it, the 40 year old, plastic surgery, Hollywood LL might not be able to bring it either. The Ripper Strikes Back is damn near as old as Reasonable Doubt.

...Canibus lost.i just love how much newfound respect you cats are giving LL now that he has said something slick about jay. dude hasnt spit anything hot in over a decade, but now the only way he could lose in a battle with jay is if young cats "cheat" him? the sh1t hasnt even popped off yet and youre already cheerleading.
the onus in all of this is on LL, he's instigating. its going to be on him to come with something thats hot enough to grab and keep the public's attention. you saw what happened to cam. "you gotta luv it" was redundant and weak, it didnt put any real pressure on jay and dude was able to ignore it. same thing will happen to LL if he doesnt come with something special. isnt LL still on def jam? i dont even really see this popping off unless 1 of them leaves the label. otherwise it makes no sense for LL.

...Ofcourse I'm rooting for LL...I'm an old head. I love Jay-z az well though and they are tied with other individuals at 3 (Jay-Z) and 4 (LL) on my top ten list.
...If you remember correctly...Nas hadn't spit anything hot in quite awhile either before Takeover dropped on him...yet some people think "Ether" destroyed Jay. So it is capable that LL may do the same thing.
...You are even saying that LL will have to say something special to grab the public's attention...which is basically "young heads" who think he hasn't "spit anything hot in over a decade"...which is who I'm referring to az to not giving him proper credit and respect.

Half the site is swingin' off LL's d!ck outta the blue, and pretending that L is the favorite in this battle. I know LL, I know his career, I know his history- but that niqqa ain't smashed anybody in a battle since the Kool Moe Dee sh*t. Canibus offed himself with that wack-ass album, L won that by default.
I'm not sayin' it's impossible that L could score on Jay- but y'all are crazy as sh*t thinkin' this is gonna IN ANY WAY be a one-sided battle.

You niqqas know that a lot of this is wishful thinking. You were just in a thread the other day actually thinking that something good was gonna come out of LL "goin' back hardcore", when if you know his career, you know that sh*t ain't worked for him in 17 years.

-LL cool J tried to copy Big & Pac and do music for the ladies but it backfired on him.
-LL tried his hand at acting but ha failed miserably. Only 1 good performance in his whole career (God in In Too Deep).
-LL hasnt made a good song since the GOAT album.
-LL was passed over as the boss of Def Jam.
-LLs career is downward spiraling since 2001 so he joined 50 cent to try an reinvent himself, yet he chose the worst possible time, as 50s popularity has dropped a heck of alot.
Nothing new can be said about Jay Z that HASNT been said before by Nas, or Cam. LL hasnt been in a battle since Canibus so alot of new diss lines can take place. Its a ridiculous beef if it happens, because LL is just jealous of Jay.

...the problem with this is that LL will have to thoroughly destroy Jay to be seen az a victor...Jay will only have to say one slick line and the internet will go nuts (even if they don't understand what he said  ). You know very well on places like SOHH and elsewhere on the internet where Jay-Z is akin to Satin, it'll be the other way around. Cam releases a redundant record full of rehashed disses and *****s go crazy saying Jay's finished. Same with Jim Jones, yet they hate on Dig A Hole, Brooklyn High, and the verse on the Hustlin Remix. From this thread alone I can tell anything LL releases will be overrated for the sake of countless "Jay lost" posts, regardless if Jay actually loses or not.
