I never thought that this would happen - not to me not to us...
But the transgressions that manifested between me and those other men...
Had you questioning my loyalty..
My ability to be with you faithfully....
Time and time again I betrayed your trust cause the grass on the other side...
Was filled with lust...
I didn't drop the panties but mentally I was sleeping with the enemy....
I was letting them penetrate the fabric of what we created...
6 years in the making...
I awake to swollen eyes that remind me that I am human...
Cause the disregard for your feelings made me into something else...
What's left of us is just a frienship...
That with time will melt away as your heart finds new love...
I'm selfish so it's either all or none....
So as I sit and let this ordeal sink in...
I"m realizing I lost more than just my best friend...
But a man who loved me sometimes more than I loved myself...
In the end I must play the cards that I've been dealt....
And all those phone calls and secret talks don't compare...
To the damage I've done to my potential fairytail romance...
I'll always love this man I called Tye...
For he loved me with a love stronger than....
My fears and my hurt but couldn't fight through the force that was...
My Pride....

loved this... the crazy thing about this for me is the date that appears in the title. from my writings last year everyone knows what i went thru and 9/25 is the birthday of the person who is the main part of my "fairytale romance" reading this made me think what i could have lost
