100% whey protein, muscle milk, or ON's serious mass. the 1st is obv straight up protein, the last 2 are meal replacements/weight gainers wit a shytload of carbs/protein. i been startin to lift and my goal is to get cut as well as get a lil bigger/gain more weight. so which one of these would be the best, and also when would be the best time to take em?

The best gainers are cytogainer or muscle milk collegiate. They are almost identical, but cytogainer has 3 grams creatine. Also, cytogainer is best taken right after workout. Muscle milk has slow digesting protein so its good at bedtime.

Do one or the other, I dont think you want to take a weight gainer if you're trying to lose weight( get cut ).

Whey is good post workout, it absorbs quickly, especially mixed with fruit/juice to replenish glycogen. ON is good, but their prices jumped up recently...10 lb bag was like 44-50...now its like 70. I dread having to ever buy another 10lb bag
Muscle Milk is better during the day or at night before bed, it digests slower due to the casein mixture and the fats in it, although I do drink it post workout sometimes because I like the taste of it, but I use whey 99% of the time post workout
I used gainers post workout(whey based,N-large) and cytogainer and I didn't gain much fat due to the carbs being used to replenish muscle glycogen. The carb content is alot lower than many other gainers with like 121212121 grams of sugar.
They all have their benefits, experiment and see what works for you

yo, dat ON serious mass weight gainer shyt got liek 50 Gs of protein. would dat shyt help me recover good or do i need to take sum straight up whey for dat?
