I don't know jack sh1t about lifting, so help a skinny n1gga out.

What are some good brands/stores/web sites/etc?

I definitely want to be able to bench, but any recommendations are appreciated.

Sports authority/sears has some stuff.

I know you can get a 310lb set of weights for about 100-150 dollars

Even check craiglist, people but the stuff and never use it..and u can end up getting a steal

Check your local paper too. You shouldn't have to blow that much dough on free weights. No pun intended.

Stay away from plastic free weights with cement filling those are the worst due to the fact that if they crack it throws everything off and they pretty much become useless, also anybody try those bowflex free weights? Logic did over the weekend there nice and covenant adjust the weight just by turning the knobs they came in 2 sets 15-30lbs and 35- about 60lbs you guys should try it

theres someone selling a set at my gym with a bench for like 300...im sure i can find a set later on for like 150
