I asked a friend if he read this book before and he gave me the realest quote ever...
"No because the author is still broke and has no power"

Yeah my pops was put onto it by a load of people in the nick and made me read it when I was younger, took me ages but it was well worth it that book will give you the sense of perspective to be able to effectively dominate almost any situation and can given the right implementation help you to gain power. Your not going to read it and suddenly turn into some kind of general you have to have balls to follow through with some of the stuff it states to do and use your own common knowledge but without it I would be a different person
It is definately worth reading the whole way through even if you discard a lot of the advice
Theres quite a few famous business men that have used the book to their benefit and vouch for the book, most notably 50 Cent whos moves can almost entirely be traced back to that book

yeah its useful depending on your environment. some of that shiit is pointless tho if u live a life in a normal environment.
if you're around a bunch of snakes and in cutthroat competition (i.e. the music biz) then yes it makes sense. If you're a housewife the book would be useless.

your friend isn't too intelligent if he believes 48 LOP is a manual to attain power - the reason for the title is to sell copies - it's really just a compilation of stories, with references to how power was attained in these stories
power attainment manuals do exist - 48 LOP isn't one of them..
I got that, The book is similar to Niccolò Machiavelli's The Prince,[1] with the main difference being that the audience is not royalty, but the masses.
