She a-rose among fresh meadows,
Where peddles plucked from coca-
flowers settle on da soul of the ghetto,
in da mist a stir of echoes
winos wine on metro,
bitter from crushed dream dey can’t seem let go,
gleam in eye fingers clutched to a pen… ink soakin in,
open mics in vein cut da tongues of soft spoken men,
exitin da golden age fore come da end of dayz,
eviction notice posted until da debt is paid,
micky slipped in da punch skip a sip at heavens gate,
dip n sniff my finger tips…excuse me if I hesitate,
I dedicate this to my brotha…forty to his memory,
A fist full of vengeance to eventually consume his identity,
doom is da remedy… from soon to infinity,
