Just curious on other peoples thoughts of how the Textcees rank around here now a days....cause i'm sure people are kinda tired of see'in Classic Battle Verses that were last updated in like 2003:dry:

not really lookin for people to put names in order or anything (to prevent all the egotistical emcee's like myself from gettin butt hurt sayin they better then whoevers above them)....just curious to see WHO would make your personal 10 even if you feel you are in there yourself.......(for those who just HAVE to order them...go ahead...doesn't really matter.....)

and for those who are set saying there are only a top 5 to them....then guess 5 more!...theres atleast 30 people here that come and go that you can think of....lol.....

and so you all know....i was tryin to base this off of skills right NOW....but if you wish to go off of the year...your more then welcome....just thought somethin recent would be easier on most....

If you wanna do a top 10 for right now you kinda gotta base it off both the tourney's, the open mic drops, and just overall skills. I think gr0ss is probably the best battle textcee to ever post here but he never really got consistent with it. I have a battle with him that never got votes that I'ma re-up if I can...

Because Even tho some of yall may not agree to me being the nicest here, wen it comes to hood mixtape, audio & live battles **** no1 is prolli fuccin wit me except cali, #1 rapper & maybe E based on the style they rap in & swag. I don't even write music(for audio) anymore & I only spit on leisure, & I've been on 2 Mixtapes b4 & got a project on a upcommin label(that might not even pop) making beats & producing.
Where as some of yall would want this as a lifestlye but haven't made moves.

& please Don't get me wrong. I LOVE music as much as the next guy & I would like to be a producer for a living also but chances are it won't go as planned, so I don't have high hopes.

Gotta agree w/ Ecli for the tfact the thread title CLEARLY states TEXTCEE's.

I also agree w/ Neo that most here don't excel with Audio. Personally, the work I've put out here is mediocre audio wise. HOWEVER, in real life I got skillz. Vocal quality, production etc. online is a different animal from spitting in a cypha or in a studio. And yes I know about Foreign Exchange and other albums done mainly online but keep in mind they have VERY good equipment and not $10 mic and inferior production skills like Muah.

Yeah, I drop bars here for fun and to elevate. This shyt is like a video game, see who I can beat, plus I have zero aspriations in the music field, your the one gettin all bent out of shape. Plus, how can you talk shyt when you had an E-Posse on here, but its whatever, I've recorded audios for fun and they have been horrible but I'm movin forth, plus, the shyt was fun to do, so if you can get people to buy your music then props, but chill out on the homotional rants.
