My .02 worth...I think the past textcees are still relevant...I've read all the way back to '03, when I first joined the site and I think it's a coo tool to use to learn how to text. I tried text for a minute but found that it messed with my real flow/mental approach so I stopped...maybe that's weak of me and most cats don't experience that but I did...with that said my top 10 would go as follows, in order...

IMHO...#1 really only gets mentioned with the recent cats because he posts. He's not bad at all just not as good as some of these rankings imply.

understandable....usually most original audio heads that make the switch to text isn't as succesful as a text head switching to audio.....cause alota audio heads need to learn how to "up the anty" in a way...and text heads need to learn how to write shorter bars (cali_bud:dry:) for audio....

but umm....like i stated before....the list is for CURRENT active members....and bout half of those guys ain't even put in they password in months...lol....SMH @ constantly having to say the word CURRENT to these damn list's....

Interesting point but I disagree. I mean if you're a talented writer/artist then you can adapt to anything. Good football players play on turf, grass, etc. They may be better on one than the other but they still adapt.

Personally, when I write it's the same as it would be in audio...saw the transition is easier.

I think going from text to audio is harder and most of the people in this forum are a shining example of that. Ask 90% of people that started here in text and then went to audio.

Bottom line I came to the realization when I FIRST started posted here that the game has changed. People can write a few lines but really can't flow. And I always took that for granted since I started in audio and then came here.

But common sense tells you most people aside from Jay and B.I.G. (RIP) WRITE their rhymes at some point anywhere.
