How much creatine should be in your system?

I never took creatine, but while I was going for a job, they told me to take a urine test. Fine I say, I take the tests and receive the results and see in large lettering Creatine mono?????- 600 mg. Is this normal? What would be the normal range. I was only taking Muscle milk.

I know for maintenance periods it's recommended that you take ~3-5g (3,000-5,000mg) of creatine a day.

However I don't think they found creatine in your urine, they probably found creatinine, the byproduct of used up creatine.

most people take about 5,000mg a day, which is what I take. if they only had 600mg then thats completely fine. small amounts of creatinine is found in meats.
