Fact is, money aint ****. You cant take it with you when you leave, you can loose it all in the blink of an eye, and it doesnt define artists...at least IMO. Game obviously lost a lot of fans when he was stripped of his G-Unit affiliation, but he has done very well on his own. 50 will be 50 and will sell units (as for Curtis well have to wait and see how it sells...that will be a better indicator of who people feel about him now), but Game did a lot of damage to his brand. In fact, while 50 brags about all the money he has, Game is out there promoting himself, doing a lot of collabos, hes earned the respect of a lot of people within the industry. Its almost as if its a tortoise/hare race. Slow and steady wins, and thats what Game is doing. 50 has worn himself thin with a lot of people....even though hes got a lot of business ventures/assets/wealth, its only a matter of time before his tactics reduce him to a non-factor in the music. In the overall grand scheme of things, Game has longevity. Sure hes a retart, he's exaggerated, he's even resorted to some of 50's tactics.....but hes a lovable special ed case.

If Game was in G-Unit he was just as big as Banks, Buck or Yayo, he just sold more. He was never touching 50, and at the point where he started to do so, he got kicked out.
With that move, 50 sent him back to point zero. Despite this, Game worked his way back to the top, Doctor's Advocate was considered as a success, and now he has ended up making $11 mil last year, being a man of his own, and better yet, an important and respected figure in hip hop as a whole.
I mean, what's there to hate in that ?

he didn't make 11 mill from the album fool. he's not even platinum yet, maybe worldwide. he got money from other ventures i.e. shoes, movies, tours and such.

People could have a few million and still lose to heads in here, someone is always losing or lost yet they are millionaires and we are on a message board (Them anyways) dissing them saying they lost. The fact is if you say that you probably lost, you probably are at home with your moms and broke with no fukkin job on here all day talking about heads lost . he was never a man on his own, no matta what you say g-unit help his sales whether he was with them or not.. the only way you can say he was a man on his own is if he never joined g-unit and made that money by himself. until then he is never alone... he got supported by g-unit fans he gained while 50 was writing for him makin him hot...

No rapper has been a "man of his own" by your standards, basically every one of them has had a mentor that helped them into the game.
Do you remember how Dre & Em blew 50 up and how Em's suburban fans rushed to the stores to buy GRODT? Was he a man of his own, if that's the case? No.
The difference is, Dre & Em (50's mentors) have backed him up to this day, but Game's mentors (50 & Dre) both bytched up and left him for the wolves. He worked it out, which leads to my post you just quoted. Get my point?

Game may not being seeing 50 as far as record sales and all, but to say he aint a success is ridiculous. If 50 made game, how come he couldnt do the same for buck and banks.

The last time i saw them joints was at the sketcher store on cleareance for like 25 bucks.

I see a lot of people rocking em but I do live in southern california....I'd say more of the money is coming from touring, ventures with Dj Skee (music, envy expo, etc), and guest apperances. If Snoop made most of his money on his album and guest apperances then I am sure Game did as well as he out sold him and appeared on more albums.
As for the g-stan unit, they are furious. The more and more time goes on the more and more they realize g-unit lost the war with Game. 50 cent is suppose to be the career ender and Game is doing nice for himself.
But people just have to hate around here, can't get a 'nice , good for him' and keep it moving.

true, however, game was NOT killing the streets with mixtapes prior to being sent to g-unit, no one knew him(GAME)
, atleast ppl knew 50 prior his deal.. game basically ate off g-unit buzz and 50 writing for him.. lets not forget that 50 wrote those hits, no one wrote for 50.....
