No - even with the Dap Kings instrumentation.

The songs are absolutely retarded. And the arrangements aren't that good either....i don't know...i D/Led it. It's a headscratcher.

The single he had with all the birds crying was one of most annoying songs of the year.

Damn...Geoff Barrow of Portishead serving Ronson with the ether:

TOP producer MARK RONSON has been savaged by PORTISHEAD.

The superstar spinner has been on the receiving end of a spectacular tongue-lashing from GEOF BARROW, the brains behind the trip hop outfit.

Producer Barrow believes Ronson's recent album VERSIONS, in which he re-tooled hits from the likes of KAISER CHIEFS and THE CHARLATANS, is "sh*t".

He fumed: "I think it takes amazing talent to turn decent songs into sh*t funky supermarket muzak."

And he's also not best pleased about Ronson's re-working of BOB DYLAN classic MOST LIKELY GO YOUR WAY either.

He added: "I also heard he's remixing Dylan... some music industry t** thinks it needs remixing.

"You would think he would have the respect to say no to the job, obviously not.

"What's the bets on BOB MARLEY and NIRVANA next?"

Does Ronson actually do anything though? Cause his first album was like chops n sh1t. This one is mostly instrumentation. I thought he was a DJ...
