The dude has one of the most effortless, smoothest flows of all time. Lord Finesse is one of today's forgotten best, he never appears in lists, he never really gets mentioned much today in magazines, and no one talks about his influence.

The man fathered Big L's style, Cam is his son, Ma$e's couplet flow sounds heavily influenced, Fabolous and even 50 tried sounding like Mase in the beginning, so they are his offspring too

To me, all of his raps sound fresh today, and he could throw in old bars into a new song and still kill a lot of emcees

Word, lord finesse still gets tons of play from me to this day and no doubt he would kill a lot of the emcees out today.

I am a Finesse stan. I had mad love for Finesse on the mic, but his skills behind the board combined with that just makes him a legend. I loved Finesse's sound, DITC were so deep behind the boards... Finesse, Diamond, Buckwild, Showbiz, a crazy stable. But Finesse is head and shoulder's above the rest to me.

Solid mic skills + Dusty fingers is a dope combination, Finesse is one of the greats...
