The dude has one of the most effortless, smoothest flows of all time. Lord Finesse is one of today's forgotten best, he never appears in lists, he never really gets mentioned much today in magazines, and no one talks about his influence.
The man fathered Big L's style, Cam is his son, Ma$e's couplet flow sounds heavily influenced, Fabolous and even 50 tried sounding like Mase in the beginning, so they are his offspring too
To me, all of his raps sound fresh today, and he could throw in old bars into a new song and still kill a lot of emcees
