Having a writers block, but hear it goes...

Remember the days on your block,
sunrays beating down, sweating on your brow,
hydrant gushin, older kids playin dice,
hustlers on the corner rockin all the ice,
wishin poppa had money, wouldnt that be nice,
ghetto mentality, straight from the streets,
broke into my neighburghs house, and saw blood on the sheets,
tales unique, things ive seen, stories few speak,
you see, i guess you dont, some do, some wont,
broken glass on the floor, cutting our feet,
if momma see's me cry, sh*t im gonna get beat,
monstrous left hook from school yard don,
nicked my tape deck, while i was playin "same song",
remember when the girls first started wearing thongs,
old preacher lady preachin how that sh*t is wrong,
but we'd sneak behind the fence and take a little peak,
in the changing rooms, in the showers we would sneak,
back in the day, mischeavous and crazy,
when kids didnt have to work, we could be kids and be lazy,
damn those days are hazey, back when i was young, just a baby!
