amongst many other lines they had threw at each other, as Nas said, How many of us knew Kick in Da Door was going at him, this would have been a classic battle had certain things not happened........

Biggie easily. I think a lot of things that people get at Nas about, Biggie would have gotten on him for as well and would have done it better then anyone else could have (Imagine Biggie getting at Nas over crazy instrumentals like Takeover, Ether, etc)

Big was clever, and aside from dudes like Redman and Big Pun...had a crazy sense of humor.

they weren't really on some battle **** tho just friendly competition, Jay & Nas was different because although they knew each other & had been throwing subs for a while, Jay always held it against Nas that he didn't show up to the Dead Presidents video & he didn't do Brooklyn's Finest with him (was supposed to be NY Finest). there was never that underlying tension with BIG as far as i know.
