im only a moderate lcd fan but this song has moved into my top 10 of all time

ive been listening to it alot since it came out and it hasnt got old yet. the climax where he sings "where are your friends tonight" is absolutley amazing

i know its objective but can anyone think a better song that has been made this year?

^I agree. For me "Someone Great" is the best song on a great album.

According to Wikipedia he was involved, his possible inclusion was the main reason I got the album, maybe he didn't have enough input and that's the problem; his basslines in !!! are almost 2nd to none.

Most of the songs are unnecessarily stretched out and go nowhere; once I'm halfway through a song I've already heard all it has to offer and just want to skip it onto the next one (both clocking in at over 7 minutes, 'Get Innocuous' and 'All My Friends' are perfect examples). I listen to a lot tech-house/microhouse/detroit house, this album is not deep or special, it's just repetitive and boring.

'North American Scum' is alright, it was about the only song that even remotely interested me on my first listen, but it's certainly nothing special; and as for 'New York I Love You', don't even get me started on that token sentimental piece of shyt.

obviously it is just one source and pure opinion, but i found it interesting that pitchfork named All My Friends the best song of the year. somone great was like #5.
