damn son you a lil late on coppin illmatic....illmatic was a def, classic...but i think it was written was better...had more of an upbeat style but yet still the same lyrical-ness to it

definitley my favorite track on the album...and imo one of the best beats of all time, pete rock laced nas something serious, i wish they did more work together

If you liked Illmatic, check out AZ's album Doe Or Die. It is an underappreciated classic with a very similar sound.
