I have a habit of doin my cardio first while cutting. Does it make any difference or is it preference?

I also go str8 to a light ab workout and then on to the rest.

Any suggestions on how to improve?

its best to space them out...like hours apart.

i do it before. i can go straight from my cardio into my lifts without needing anything besides a 5 minute rest and a bit of water. its not ideal, and most people dont like this because they feel so exhausted after cardio that they cant go 100 percent on the weights, which is very important.

but on the other hand, you COULD do weights first, then cardio. but the problem with that is you need a source of protein and carbs right after you lift weights...within 30 minutes. thats the best time to take your creatine or whatever too. so if you wanted to make a shake with 30g of carbs, 50g of protein, and whatever else you want...drink it before you run...then you would be straight.

i dont do that cause im not tryin to do no cardio with all that shiit in my system.

Actually you have 90 minutes following a workout before your body goes catabolic. You can easily squeeze in a 20 or 30 minute HIT session and be on your way to the protein shake with enough time.

If your cutting its better to follow up a workout with Cardio since it depletes whats left of Glycogen in your muscle. I would rather have max energy for workouts, doing Cardio first is going to hinder your workout.

Thanks for the info. I think I will start resting a little bit more in between cardio and lifting.
