You can catch a case with someone that didn't have anything to do with it. He said Jay was never in teh streets like that, because the street dudes took care of him....not contradictory. Well Chris Rock's quote "Behind every fortune there is a crime". Jay is just the latest along the line of people who used people to make it to the top. There is no doubt that he could've helped these people (especially Jaz) further along than he did.

In Jay's defense all of these dudes played themselves. Why is it that Bleek managed to stick around all this time? Cause' Bleek knows how to play his part. Jaz probably deserved a bigger deal than he got, but ask yourself would you sign a guy to a million dollar deal if he had NO buzz whatsoever. Jaz should have signed that deal because it was better than anything else he had coming. Nobody else was offering him a deal, so why would Jay as a business man come out of his pocket and give him this huge deal. Both Dame and Jay played themselves, they both owed each other more. You can say that Jay would have never been on if it wasn't for Dame but you can also say the opposite. As far as Klein, he needs to make up his mind about what Jay was. Was he was really not in the streets, or not? It doesn't make a difference to fans at this point anyway. Dipset and Wayne show that as long as the people like your music they really don't care about your outside life.
