i hope one comes thats good but now it seems that the only revolutions are the ones happening in the underground like post-rock etc. There are still good new bands around you just have to look deeper for them.

I'm workin' on startin' a band with some friends. All we need is a drummer, and we'd be straight.
It's already happening and you can't even see it.

I agree.

Where do you wanna start? Some of the biggest hits this year have been from independent companies. The Arctic Monkeys and Franz Ferdinand, two of the biggest and most successful british bands of recent years, are signed to an independent label. Hundreds of influential artists have sprung up thanks to home recording technology. Myspace has launched the careers of almost a dozen popular groups far, bypassing the whole idea of 'quality control' decided by major label A&Rs. The internet has changed the whole idea of music.
If you wanna talk music, just look at the DIY production of music going on. That was never widely possible in music until now.

If Franz Ferdiand and Arctic Monkeys are the revolutionary bands of our generation then our generation LOST.
