are there any supplements to help aches/pains? glucosomine? anyone take a daily aspirin? if so, would that be a problem if i drink occasionally (on weekends i wouldnt bother taking one if i was gonna be a lush)
and does this sound normal... i injured my hip awhile back. i just sold my last bike for a new bike. last one i was in an upright position, now im on a sportbike, so im hunched over. my leg is starting to hurt again, so i quit exercise/training using my legs to see if it would go away (while on a mountain bike i felt it "pop" somewhat, and stopped). well its been couple weeks and nothing really different, so i just went back to alot of biking (mainly stationary) and some running. now its feeling better. can your body get used to being active, and being inactive cause pains to elevate?
and im convinced some of my problems are from lyme... ill get bloodwork done eventually. but honestly, besides these slight pains from time to time, i feel better than i have in years, and im also in better shape than before (or even ever?).
any input would be appreciated.

take ibuprofen instead of aspirin if you have to.
you really need to see a doctor though cause random aches and pains are not normal.

I take Aspirin daily for the heart benefits, but not for pain.
Minor aches and pains are a part of life, but if its persistent in a certain area of your body you should see a doctor.
As for being active or inactive; from personal experience I'll tell you that being active does make a difference. Exercise strengthens muscles, tissue, bones, and relives stress; each of which can cause problems if your not exercising on a regular basis.
Inactive and sedentary people ALWAYS complain of pains and stupid sh*t that doesn't phase an active person. However, being TOO active can also come with its fair share of aches and pains so you need to find a balance.

i konw being active is good, and i try to be... what i meant was, i was being active, then having that pain come on, and then it persisted for about a week. so i stopped all exercise involving my legs to see if i was working too hard, and hoping it would go away. well, it was still kinda there after that time, so i said forget it, and got back into training. now ive noticed occasionally its still there, but not as sharp as it was before. i have hurt it in the past, so im wondering if maybe something reoccurring is happening (fell on that side in a motorcycle mishap).
im by no means inactive, but when i used to be much less acitve, i did notice id have more problems. now i feel great. just sometimes have these little aches. they dont slow me down, but it would be nice for them to go away. i am thinking it may have something to do with lyme.
and whats the good word on glucosamine?

Well like I said, if you suspect its something else internal than you should certainly see a doctor and get some blood work done.
As for Glucosamine, I take it in a Joint support formula to help strengthen my joints and ligaments. Taller people should take Glucosamine to prevent certain complications when they get older. It helps relieve pain in the joints, ligaments, and bones. It can help anyone though, people with pain the in hips, elbows, knees, etc. take it.
