do you ever use those lil ketosis test strips you can buy at the store? my question is, do those tests ONLY indicate yes, you're in ketosis, or no you're not? do they tell you how close you are to being in ketosis and show a level system so that you can gauge how close you are/how far away. or just tell you a solid yes/no..?

Like ph level strips by color...well the ones my friend was using were that way

when you pee it turns a color to tell you if your in ketosis

I know you probably know already, but the color indicates if you are in ketosis or not after you pee on it
Sticks come in handy if its your first go at Keto. After a while you'll know just from how your body is reacting if your in Ketosis or not. Biggest sign is body odor and breath; not pleasant either lol. I used to shower two to three times a day and brush like four times a day just to stay fresh.

When you enter ketosis your body has switched into burning fat for energy instead of the carbs you consume. During this period some will feel kinda weak and it's hard to get that last rep when you workout. Oh and yeah it's a ow carb high fat eating plan but unlike Atkins you have 12-48 hour carb ups to fill your glycogen levels back up.

Thats the gist of it. You basically begin burning fat instead of carbs for energy. Keto is geared towards people who want low carb diets but need energy to workout still. Atkins was developed for passive people and house-moms who want to lose weight in an unhealthy manner. It's very hard to conduct workouts while on Atkins because there is no glycogen in your muscles to fuel them.
