Could anyone recommend an effective calistenic workout. I don't have time to really go to a gym. I want something that I can do home.
Sticking to the basics will help you (sit-ups, push-ups, crunches, etc.) but sooner or later your going to hit a wall. If time is an issue, try investing in a decent bench with some adjustable dumbbells and just buy plates and add weight over time. You can work the majority of your upper body with just a bench and dumbbells and even some lower body.

i time everything. like right now i dont have access to weights, so i set a stopwatch to 20 minutes and try to do 500+ pushups within that. i do the same w/ situps, calf raises, etc.

the problem is you're not building muscle mass...just muscle endurance. you're also burning calories, but pretty inefficiently. you'd burn much more by just jogging for 20 minutes.
essentially you're just training yourself to be really good at doing pushups. you'll get a decent pump out of it though since your forcing blood into the muscles.
its alot better than doing nothing, but you're going to need a weight set if you want to build muscle mass.

Is it true that Roy Jones did this the majority of his career? I heard he never used weights for his training until he went up to Heavyweight to fight Ruiz in 2003.

That's all I care about. My speed. I have very, very fast reflexes. That's why I do calistenics alot.
