i love that band they're one of my favorites too

check all their albums plus their e.ps....

facelift - has more of a hardrock and metal sound...

dirt - standard atl rock/ grunge..

self titled album - sludgier and more sonic version of dirt..

sap - mellow acoustic stuff...very catchy but not pop

jar of flies - very depressing and mostly acoustic stuff..


jerry cantrell's (lead guitarist, song writer and back up vocalist from the band) 2 solo albums are very good too.



alice in chains and nirvana are my 2 all time favorite rock bands. not by far though..

fugazi. after that, it's less clear. the zombies, dag nasty, lifetime, explosions in the sky, the who, stones, cap'n jazz, the byrds, husker du, embrace, minor threat, q & not u all come to mind.

favorite artists would be almost entirely different, with the exception of fugazi and maybe a few others.
