My First Beat

Yo, just finished making my first beat and it would be straight if you could give me some feedback on it or anything i need to improve on. Obviously its not going to be amazing but just wanna know what you guys think, thanks

ok. It aint too bad for ya first beat. I was alot worse. At least ya joint is somewhat rappable....but ya **** is still off beat. lol

I use FL & Acid Pro. Im thinkin' about getting a midi keyboard aswell If I can find one for cheap. Anyone got any other tips or watever for me?

yea mayne...the beat is off.
i think whatever you're using to cut the loop up is too hard....i never used acid pro, BUT ... when you export the wav file from FL studio, and bring it up in soundforge (what i use) it has the loop marked exactly ....so your bars are never off if put together properly.....which is what i think you were doing with acidpro or whatever....

like the other dude said, aint bad for your first beat, i was way worse....
but work the hardest on drum patterns....a solid kick and snare combo.....dont even worry about samples and chopping sh!t up yet. get the basics of kick/snare/hi hat/etc down to a science...

Yo, that actually aint bad, it aint like good or great, but for a first beat it aint bad. I use fl7, acid pro, i have way too many vst intsruments, and 8 gigs of my own sounds, god i have a mess lol

keep it up though
