the 80's was the worst decade for rock music. yeah they got alot of a$$, but the music sucked. every band in that era was just a carbon-copy of its predecessor. no talent, no substance.

It's better than the late 1990's early 2000's nu metal baggy pants wearing, My life sucks garbage we have to put up with, God I Hate that mess.

At Least with Hair metal bands, the 80's was a great time for rock.

This Limp Bizkit(the worst ever)/Korn/linkin park/deftones didn't do anything for me at all, I Hated it, it was just as bad as the boy bands.

Probably the worst scene ever. Next to 2005-2008 little wayne, tpain, and 808's which is all glam hip hop.

It's better then the horriffic nu metal scene which was also pretty bad as well.

I Find it amazing that people like that genre, I Hated it, it is junk, silly and idiotic.

Nu Metal is the worst genre in rock music history, there is nothing metal about it.

80's became less affluent (rich) in instrumental and more electronical. Not down playing electro, i loved it but the 80's lived off the clone generic sounds. Prince was the only few artists from that generation who took that sound to his greatness and left it when it was no longer needed.

Prince and the revolution were a fab glam rock outfit in the 1999 and purple rain era.

80's electronical is the best thing that's happened to music.
