What benefits have you noticed so far?

Well, aesthetically I've noticed that my skin is literally glowing, my teeth are brighter and whiter and I definitely have a boost in energy. It's only been a little over a week. I also feel like I've lost a little weight as well. It curbs your appetite.
It's dope because it's hella cheap but at the same time beneficial.
I just feel more people should know about it.

I've used Sesame before but it was too potent for me. Sunflower does the job and it isn't as potent.

Sunflower. I've heard of people getting pretty good benefits form Olive oil and Coconut oil, but Sesmame and Sunflower are said to be the best.
I usually oil pull for about 20 minutes. It's not that hard when you're preoccupied with other things. The benefits are worth it IMO

It's best to do it when you first wake up on an empty stomach. You can do it up to three times a day, just make sure you do it on an empty stomach...

I started doing this the other day. I must say my skin feels better. I'll keep doing it for a while and see what else happens.
The ghost of Gene Siskel gives this the big thumbs up.

any more updates?
hmmm...let's see...
i really didn't have any major health problems to begin with. I just wanted to maintain and enhance. Like I said before, the skin (texture and clarity) and teeth (whitening) is turning out beautifully, dam near flawless  ; Even though I wasn't really tryna lose any weight, I did...about 5 pounds. It's like I don't crave unhealthy foods. I probably eat like one big meal a day (i know that's not good), but i'm literally not even hungry. I know this doesn't apply to you, but the cramps are gone! ummm...what else...just overall more energetic (no need for coffee). It's basically an internal cleanse so the benefits are limitless.
have you tried it yet?

I've been doing this for 6 days now (sesame oil). I've noticed my skin looks really good & my teeth are also very white. besides that, I can't say I've noticed anything else. I did wake up an hour before my alarm went off this morning, which is def not like me, but I can't say if it's due to the oil pulling or not. overall, imma try it for a full month & see what other effects I notice.
I def wouldn't go as far to say this is an "internal cleanse" as I did the master cleanse last year which brought on very noticeable results in a short amount of time. I asked a friend who's into ayuverdic stuff about oil pulling & she said she's heard of it before- mainly as just a purge for various toxins. I do have major sinus problems which are still very present.

Oh ok. I wouldn't think the taste of oil would be very good anyway. I think i'll try it though just because.
yea give it a try just to see what you think...I find the sesame oil tastes kind of nutty...pause...and the first time you try it you may have trouble just keeping it in your mouth, cuz I found I wound up swallowing some even tho I really tried not to...pause...

Thats really good  i'm just starting with it too... i'm trying to stick with it for a few months see what can really happen...i've heard great things...What does the master cleanse consist of? I might wanna try that as well. I'm hoping over time your sinus issues will go away. Going the natural route always takes times and patience.

master cleanse consists of organic maple syrup, lemon juice & cayenne pepper. I did it for 21 days last year & had a really positive experience. I was thinking of doing it again this year, but it takes so much mental preperation & my mind is just focused on other things right now.
yes, I am also a big believer in natural healing as well although I do think my sinus problems are so severe/persistent I may have to have surgery to see any type of significant improvement.

I'm assuming it's like rinsing with mouth wash or something. You just kinda work it back n forth in your mouth (pause) until it gets foamy? Do you have to use a set amount? I guess I should re-read the thread for more info.
yea I just measure out a tablespoon & swish it around for about 15/20 min while I get ready for work in the morning...just use it like a mouthwash & try to work it in between your teeth as well...I noticed it changes colors after you swish it around...when I first pour it out, it's yellow, but then when I spit it out...it's white & sorta foamy...when I'm done, I rinse/brush & my teeth feel super clean

Thanks  Stick w/ the oil pulling for a little while longer, I'm almost positive it will have an immense effect on your sinuses

ooookay I copped my sesame oil and I tried this oil pulling business this morning. 15 minutes is a long time when you're waiting. OMG and the oil is really not a good taste mixed with morning breath. I swished it around and around until I couldn't take it anymore (7 whole minutes) and spit it out. I paid $5 for that jar of oil so I will be trying it again and again and again until it's gone.
I'll keep yall updated.
I cant bring myself to do it :gag:

Swishing activates the enzymes and the enzymes draw toxins out of the blood. The oil must not be swallowed, for it has become toxic. It really does work...for those who believe it's a hoax...don't do it...It's really not that serious  Sunflower oil isn't as strong in flavor and does the job perfectly fine...

Dam...so pessimistic lol/ Since when did Wikipedia become a valid source of information? Anyone can edit that ish...
The oil pulls all mucous, bacteria and toxins from your body through your saliva. According to Ayurvedic medicine, mucous is a poison that must be removed. Of course you're not supposed to swallow it...it's toxic. But if you do swallow it there are no side effects, it just comes out through your feces.

Because swallowing it would have defeated the purpose of doing it. Im guessing as you swish it around, its drawing all the toxins out into the oil. Im guessing so... Sounds cool. I have no idea where to buy sunflower oil at tho.

actually was a liver cleanse I guess, and only half a cup of oil (still :gag:) lol but the point was to flush out galstones. Something came out lol, pretty much like they describe here (http://www.curezone.com/cleanse/liver/huldas_recipe.asp) (except I did not get any stones that big eek)
I wish my auntie could of tried it, she got her galbladder surgically removed instead. Apparently this cleanse makes that unnecessary *shrug*
