lmao i know but i just couldn't be bothered. i've just got a lot of other **** happening right now, i might give it another go later in the month.

to get some smooth chops, make sure you zoom right in when placing the slices. the other important thing is to have air in between your chops, like when you're doing drums, if you just have really clean kicks & snares they sound separate & not part of the same drum beat. it's the same with music samples, if they don't join then it just sounds like a bunch of random bits of music put together, it's not cohesive. on way to achieve this is to cut your samples on the kick & snare hits of the original song. once you EQ them & do what you need to them, the kick & snare shouldn't really matter but the sound & air will carry to each hit on your own beat.

i don't know if that helped, someone else could probably explain it better than that.

I love the way you chopped it....but the sounds are a lil off....like the sample didn't line up at times...I like the kick and snare pattern.....i would have likes a hi hat somewhere in this joint though

preciate that. And I noticed that the sample isnt chopped right, too. I'll fix it later, probably gonna have to rechop it or something. And I'll try a hat, too just to see what it adds.
