He didn't lose to some B-level random underground battle rappers, he lost to some of the best battle rappers of that era. Supernatural and Juice were 2 of the top dogs for battling around that time.

Saying "Em can't battle, he lost to Supernat and Juice" is like saying "that guy can't play ball, he lost to Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan". In their prime, obviously.
