That said I do like Hadouken.
Neon Plastics are also very cool, The Klaxons released a great set of tracks before their fukked up the album by over producing the great tracks.
I'm liking the UK scene. I'm liking the central/Northern Europe scene even more now. Jenny Wilson and The Knife are what's up :yes:

Had the advance of wileys and as always top quality from the daddy of this scene, but I'm surprised just how good M&E is
I love both albums. I was honestly expecting Dizzee to falter on this one but I'll definitely be buying both from the listens. I love the spacey tracks like Outside and Letter To Dizzee. That's the kind of sh!t I always end up making when I work off synth samplers
edit - But, while I'd say Playtime Is Over is better than Treddin' On Thin Ice, Showtime is still my favourite Dizzee album.

It can't be helped though, UK music is on a high right now. It's really the only music I'm digging, apart from Australian & South American music.
Have you heard The Horrors' album? I was a bit worried about listening just because dudes look like cross emo-goths but it's actually quite good.

Well in the past you've mentioned you loved the Kooks album, and that you really like the Razorlight album, but since then both these bands have become hugely derided by pretty much everyone (especially Razorlight), including American press. No mention of them by you anymore, yet these are fairly strong parts of current UK music.
So if you liked them, why would you rate the thread about them 1 star? Thats the general basis of it.
I'm pretty sure we've had this discussion before, but i'm happy to point it out again.

I'm not sure if I mentioned it previously but I don't really follow the 'american press' most of my exposure to new music comes through blogs or pals.
You can't fully expect me to still be talking about records that came out months ago when great albums are regularly being released?

I agreed and you asked for a basis, so thats what I tried to give you.
I'm not entirely sure what the 'American press' constitutes (Rolling Stone Spin?), but if they're like NME and Q then that's wise I'm sure.
