Do I have to explain myself? Yeah I guess so.

Favourite Worst Nightmare = mostly generic sounding songs, the good ones felt like they could've been on Whatever People Say..

A Weekend in the City = bunch of crappy slow songs after "The Prayer"

Edit: Maybe "Uniform"..

One album wonders! Or at least 1/2.

i don't get how people think Bloc Party's first album is better than their sophomore. I don't even like the debut one that much.

the first one is more simpler, and you know most people aren't intelligent.

The first one is rawer. The 2nd one is trying to find some middle ground between a 'mainstream' sound and what made Bloc Party big in the first place. I like Silent Alarm more, but Weekend In The City is by no means a bad album.

Arctic Monkeys, on the other hand, killed it with FWN. Easily better than their debut.

nah son, they tried waaaay too hard with the new one and the lyrics were pretentious and heavy handed.

first album wasn't even that great, but it had some great tracks. but i don't blame them for not wanting to make silent alarm pt. 2

kele's is droppin pure poetry the whole time man. cop the album and listen to the album and read the liner notes. its a way better album man.
