I know that def jam is "trimming the fat" from its roster and seeing how Nas dropped a bad album that was saved by a guest appearance from Jay-Z (his boss) and it didnt recoup after all that hype, should Def Jam drop him?

so yeah, Chrissy is dead. I honestly never thought Tony would do that. Thats one thing i dig about the Sopranos though, the continue to show tony's flaws as a person but you still hope the better for him. I thought one his kids would get it though.

If Jay-Z is "trimming the fat" as you say he needs to start with Rocafella. Tierra Marie, Bleek, Young Gunz, even Fox boogie are done. Some had their time to shine (Fox, Bleek) but some never should've been signed (Tierra).

The last to go from the label would be (in no particular order):

Nas, Kanye, Fabolous, Ludacris, Ne-Yo, Juelz. That's in terms of record sales and consistent popularity.

I got love for cats like Redman and Meth and Rick Ross and stuff but they're all 'bout done. Red and Meth need to stick to movies (both probably will after being neglected at Def Jam for the past couple years) and Ross needs to hit the block back up. I swear I thought Clipse and Jeezy talked about coke a lot...

This thread is boring...... NAS is already working another album for the Def Jam Plantation.
