we've had battle tourneys before on this site before....and the ones that worked had a sustained level of interest throughout

people on this site work well with timetables and sh!t....get like a dozen or so highly committed people and this could work

In my opinion there has to be somethin to keep people interested, a round by round wrap up or something, a reliable voting system and one or two people who can make judgement calls on some of the issues (verse feeding, deadlines, hate votes) and all of that...

Still, theres six people that said they'd go for it, so, we still need a few more heads

you can run it...the OM Mods can moderate, clean up and all that, up your threads....use the versus forum and once you have a lineup set up with match-ups...we'll help out

but i suggest having 16 peeps for a tourney....and since the forum suffers from ADD, prolly one verse a piece, and maybe have the final go three...first to 5 votes wins, votes have to be explained or won't be counted, or sumthin like that

it really helps if a mod runs it...not someone participating because then you get bias threads....no offence....

so the problem is no longer enough people...now it's who's running it...

personally i would like yaga to run it because he seems to be the most consistant with uppin threads in verses.....all though i do think it would be better to have a seperate sub forum....i feel yaga will keep the verses forum under control....and he can simply just pin all the tourney battles so they don't fall to another page due to other battles happening around it....

just a suggestion/ nomination....(if yaga even wants to bother...lol)
