does anyone feel that it contributed significantly to your upper body development or you weight loss? i only work my lower body occasionally because frankly i dont like to. but i think i've read somewhere that it did help, specifically squats. leg extensions, leg curls and some calf raises are about the extent of my leg routines.

my main cardio is a stationary bike. that, and changing my diet helped me drop some weight...

Lunges builds you calfs, thighs, and helps you burn fat. After about 30 or so, your legs feel like jello though

SQUATS help release HGH and alongside deadlifts are the 2 best exercises for strength, muscle endurance, and can help a great deal in weight loss. Try to do 20 rep squats for 1 set with a decent weight and tell me you aren't as winded as if you did a gang of sprnts.
