dude perception is reality and a lot of ppl believe this. teens and ppl around 21 really like lil wayne. i disagree that lil wayne is nice at all but im in the minority. i dont know how we got to this. but i think i have an idea. i think in hiphop if a rapper self declares himself a title ppl start believing it. starting with Big calling himself kony. jay. t.i. calling himself the kotsouth. all the way to lil wayne. ppl believe anyone who self proclaimed themselves a title. it works. works even outside music.
and the kids believe juelz comes second to wayne. u been to a club mostly by teens and a wayne song comes on? they go craaazy.
i heard one dude say every beat lil wayne spits on is better than the original.
even if u point out the garbage sh1t he raps about his fans instantly forget about them.

i think all the wayne haters in this thread are still in the minority overall. one thing for sure lil wayne is hot right now. thats why he's in every song or remix.
that doesnt mean he's the best rapper. it just means he's hot right now. the one who everyone's running to. but unfortunately to the "haters" that alone can translate to him being considered the best rapper.
jim jones too is in every other remix now. but he doesnt consider himself anything so noone thinks he's anything. if he did call himself kony who's to dispute that? there'r no real measure of who the king of anything is.

The Prelude and this new Jay verse on that timbo track probaly made wayne cry......Wayne fell off after the kissin exposal...almost instantly....Jay still got it,and these kids u speak of gotta be real young if they dont remember Jay....They think Wayne hot but wouldnt say he better than jay cuz thats not popular opinion in the media and we know they followers.
