...it baffles me how so many cats are ready to live & die by who they beleive is the illest. Cats argue, fuss and fught all day, and I just want to know, what "FACT" do you use to determine what MC is/was the realist there ever was. I have my own thoughts about this, but I wanted to see what ya'll thought.....

Everybody Has Their Own Opinion On Who's Da Illest,so It's Kinda Impossible To Give Someone Dat Title And Expect Everybody To Agree,i Guess It's Who Ever U Want It To Be,bcuz It's Up To Us To Choose Who We Feel Is Da Best It Doesn't Matter Who Someone Else Thinks It Is

i'd say if you put all these together....
lyrical content...
delivery...
versitility...
battles...
time...
sales...
consitansy... (i spelled that horribly wrong)
anticipation...
put those together and you'll find yourself commin up wit odvious choices...and some you won't expect...

I feel this one hundered percent. But despite this, cats still find room to beef. It's almost like an artist is judged by the people that like them. Do you find that to be true?
Who transends all barriers in the game best to you? Example, I think Jay-z is liked by more Back PAckers/Hood Cats/ & Mainstreamers than any other rapper. What do ya'll think?

But why is that? Nas has been selling records for years,...
Maybe not in "Record" numbers,..but he's been moving em. I don't care much for the Wu,...but I'd be a fool to try and ignore and put down that them cats got some nasty lyricists,...they move numbers..
Noone says The Gza is a wack MC cause of his numbers, same with Nas. Why do people do that to other MC's? What's the basis behind that.

What about flow? I personally like my MC's to have a nasy delivery. And does this list of things make up YOUR preferences of what a real MC is all about, or is this the list for everyone?
