"This Life that We Live In"
Sometimes I admit is hard as hell
We try to do everything the right way but all we do is fail
We try so hard to be better then others
Why can't we just be ourselves
People calling psychics on the phones for advice
Why can't they just trust theirselves
Telling one lie to cover up the one you just said,When telling the truth can be so easy
Instead you choose to make up a story all of it equals misleading
Man to man, bed to bed, and woman to woman All to make your body feel good
Not knowing that the woman you just had sex with has a secret of her own
Having a disease inside of her which has now turned full blown
You've been liening to your wife saying you were working late
Now you want to tell the truth because you might not make it to them pearly gates
Smoking, drinking, and stuffing your nose with cocaine
Damaging your body plus your brain, now what do you have to gain?
We fall in love and start to like a male or female we know we can't have
Because of their former lives and mates they feel like you will let them
down like all of the ones from their past
We get treated badly by mom and dad so we take it out on everyone we
know and see
Then you start to wonder to yourself "are they really the right one for me"?
