I promised... that I would never make another mistake
But I can't help to think that the WE that we chase...
Is the mistake
Cause I'm going through the motions
Mechanical kisses and robotic I love you's
Automatic arguments as soon as your foot hits the door
Has me questioning... what are we doing this for?
Having calculated conversations ending with our voices in elevation
Only to discover we've solved nothing...
Our communication is lacking
We've gone from mind blowing sex to computer loving
But that TP2 can't get me to scream at the T-O-P of my lungs....
And I'm disappointed
Cause I'm going through the motions
Mindlessly taking steps towards the makeshift life we've built together
*sighs*
Predictable nights of watching tv
And I stay cause I know you're good for me
But I'm going through the motions
Amd I'm getting bored
Looking for a little amusement to end this enduring cycle...
But anyway...
