lonely

i'm in black and white
in a colorful world
everybody around me
is walking in color and stereo surround sound
while my voice is on mono
screaming to be heard
i get stares
maybe its because i'm different
but nobody willing to say sh!t to me
just keep their eyes on me
when i talk
they're like :huh:
this guy has a voice
this alien actually speaks english
they view me as a foreigner
but i got where we at on my birth certificate
so i just find a corner to call my own
put my back against the wall
let my legs drop from underneath
push my knees up
where i can cross my arms on my kneecaps
and just stare away
and live in my loneliness
