View Full Version : Is HIIT training supposed to kill you the next day?

Man i was doing a good 45 minutes on the elliptical machine at a solid pace and id be tired that day but the next i would be back in there lifting. I started doing HIIT training 2 weeks ago and the day after i feel really tired and i dont go lifting. Now i lift one day, cardio the next, then I need to have a day off. Is that normal?

Listen to your body and I'm sure it will work out for you. Im sure everyone will react differently. Either you will get used to it or you just adjust your schedule so you can get enough time to recover from it.

there isn't anything wrong with that. if you are really sore the next day, you might want to try creatine right after your workouts. It has always helped me be less sore.
