View Full Version : Anybody ever use Gakic (sp?) and NO...
I'm goin to look it up later, but i'm about to head out. SO any of you guys know what I'm talking about or any of you use it? My step-father suggested I look into it and I had a homeboy awhile back tell me something about it, but I just stick to my old protein. WHat are some of you guys experience with it?

Well, its over!
This is my final post for the thread. I am taking some time off from the forums so I had to cut this shorter then I had planned, but I did finish a whole bottle and I have a solid impression about this supplment.
This is a SEMI solid product. Its not by any means as good as it claims and IMO its not worth the full price that is asked at some stores. Its claims to increase strength my 10.5% is bogus. Its something thats almost impossibe to come from a non steroidal supplement. For an advanced lifter, you cant expect to gain 30lbs on your Bench, 40lbs on your Squat, 50lbs on your Deadlift just from taking a few pills. I didnt gain any immediate strength from this product. Some have PMed me asking what I truely thought and I told them this. But they didnt seem to understand since most of my workouts looked so killer. I just know how to gain strength on my own. I know how to listen to my body and how to periodize everything. On the other hand the claims to increase muscle power and more explosive reps maybe be valid. There was something different about my workouts while I was taking this. I did feel more powerful and I did feel like I was more explosive off the bottom of my reps. So those claims are probably valid. I cant really tell until I stop taking it and go back to lifting without it for a while to see how things are.
In the end, its an ok product. Would I buy it? Probably not. I can think of a lot of better things for me to spend my money on supplement wise. Would I tell someone NOT to buy it? No, I wouldnt! I think its worth a try for anyone just to see for themselves. Beginner and intermediate lifters might have better results from it. I would say search and find a good deal on it...try it, see for yourself, and make your own judgement!
Lukeman....OUT!!!
Stay away from Gakic... and most MuscleTech products for that matter. I know six people who have taken Gakic, adhering to the instructions strictly and eating on very solid diets, and they saw absolutely nothing. I used it for two weeks before throwing out the canister, worthless. Granted, I used Gakic when it first came out... I hope MuscleTech has made some attempt to improve on this supplement. They have come along way from back in the day when they were selling placebo's basically, but I'm still skeptical.
