We at www.fatratradio.com (http://www.fatratradio.com/)have felt this way for almost a decade now, we didn't need Nas or CNN to tell us this; BUT, it is an excellent article and think ya should check it out.

Also, feel free to drop me a line for further discussion, I'm more interested now in your thoughts on it. I agree with the article, I just had my awakening/realization regarding the state of this art form a decade ago is all.

these articles often bring up the negativity(hoes, guns, etc) in the music and dumbed down same old sh1t.People blame labels, rappers, etc. But never look at the hiphop fans themselves.I dont think these new so called hiphop fans want to be reached.I had a post of unknown tracks in the spot, similiar to the one i just did, and it gets 5 downloads. It probably would be the same on most other hiphop boards. You look at ebay and most of the people buying the wax are European and from other countries.People just want to be told what to like.Dont want to complicate things and thats a bigger reason than some hiphop label pushing wack sh1t.Thats always happened. But people never were 99% followers
