I just like being around people that take shyt seriously and you can tell they mean business when they're there.
Gold's Gym is where it's at for me when I'm back home on break. Been going there for 6 years and don't plan on changing either. It ain't a real high-tech gym or nothing like that, just a big ass warehouse setup with nothing but free weights, very few machines, and just enough cardio machines. Plus I got the hookup at the counter for free protein shakes after my workout; don't get no better.
Atmosphere is dope. Alotta cats I used to play ball with in school still go there to lift during breaks and we gotta few semi and pro-bodybuilders in there. Few dudes from the Giants and Jets used to go there during the off season to lift cuz they live in CT. Just an overall great experience and place to lift.

Home plain and simple. I have the bench with about 400 pounds worth of weight (not that I plan on being able to bench that anytime soon), but I can get a simple chest workout at home. I'm gonna invest in a power rack pretty soon so I can do squats also, but I go to the gym for legs and other supplemental chest and arm shyt. I also have a eliptical machine that this broad gave me but I don't use it much, it's really a big ass clothes hanger as of now.

yep, the gym I belong to is a pretty basic spot...I like being around people who go there to work out, not just to socialize, which I think you find more of in the glamorous type spots (ie. people just wanting to be seen). I've actually wanted to learn some boxing & work out at a boxing gym for awhile now b/c I really like the focus they have there on just pure conditioning of the body.
when it comes to running, I def prefer running outside (either on track or trail) to treadmill, so when the weather warms up, I'll be heading outside for that

I'm a swimmer ..and waiting around for a lap lane to open up is probably my BIGGEST pet peeve....so i joined a gym with THREE pools.. 2 indoor & 1 enormous outdoor. pricey yes. but worth it. dopest gym ever. :king:
