if you found out that death was chasing you..
would you run...would you try to hide...
or would you step to death with a picture of everything you hold dear inside..
would you tell'em how hard you love & try despite the constant slide
of time working against your mind
arguing destiny for a chance at fate even though love is blind..well..
I'm in the reflection peepin the signs and leaving it all on the line
even though I can't see...in the 4th quarter fighting from behind
pain tearing at a place I only pray to heal..my breath..
physically fearing a way at the will to rise..my strength..
lost...
my rest trying to pay to cost to live without sleep..just blessed..
so when I walk by strangers I pause...
giving what I got to give on the way..however we meet..
regardless of the day you can't lie on my feet
I peep you watchin' me..
ignorance holds your power..and you don't have shiit over me..
every Angel & Demon knows my name..and my soul's free..
so I'm not playin games you understand what I'm sayin..

Content is whatev but the structurer was on-point. It was nice to read a poem in this section that actually had a form. Unfortunately the piece suffers from a lack of vocab. I think you show the obvious talent for writing, I think you could do more reading.

my energy is all over the place right now so...I think this suffers from that..

I could have done this much better & differently but...whatever..

pieces like "Abstract Emotions" (which is still on the first page I think..)

I wrote with a clear mind...& voice...this is I dunno..
