View Full Version : I;m losing a little mass and motivation
I just haven't been able to lift like I want since I've been home. I bought a bench set at my house, where I just mostly rep 200 when I bench and do 4 sets of 50 in squats at 135lbs. And I also do some stuff for my arms, but it just don't feel the same right now. I'm doing alot of hi-rep stuff, but I still feel like I'm losing strength and getting weaker. It's almost like I don't even like lifting as much anymore.
anybody ever get like this? I honestly feel like it's my lack of equipment and stuff I'm used to. I have no idea why my strength dropped so rapidly. My first time I got my bench I hit 195, 35 times. I haven't done it since
who gives a ****

I just joined this lil bullsh*t gym close to my house, but it's lik for women and old people. I don't even like going. I joined because my mother wanted me to join it with her, but it sucks.
I would've kept the LA fitness memberships, but it ws too far out to drive to from here.
My homeboy wants me to train him, he offered to pay for my membership at Bally's, but that won't happen soon. I ride out to gold's about 3 times a month, but I'm not a member. I as waiting to see ehat will happen with my homeboy.
Like I said, I might just stop lifting all together, do some cardio for awhie, then come back at it.

I'm a little late on this thread but just take a break like you said. You probally burned out your CNS a little and needed a little rest. I did this when I was doing GVT and it put some size on me (sarcoplasmic hypertrophy) but after 3 weeks I just wasn't feeling it anymore. I might run that shyt one more time in a few weeks just to throw some size on for wife beater weather.

yea bruh, I actually take alot more breaks from seriously lifting like that. I can still hit 225 x 15times or more, so I thought that was cool. I stick to light weights, and I'm starting to get back into it alot more. Sh*t, I even hit 255 x 10 midway through my last chest workout. Not bad for someone who only lifts that much about once a month now
But I actually found out from experience that resting for weeks at a time will get you stronger.
