Has anyone here tried this or a form of it?
I'm giving it a shot, and im wondering if anyone had any good/bad exp. with it.
In this case, im wondering if it effected your workout/diet routine

it was very rough the first 4 days, but i must say the last 3 days have started to smooth out.
At the moment, i get two 90 minute naps and two 30 minute naps, and find that this has worked best for me. When i wake up, after about 5 minutes, im fully awake and good to go.
Others use different patterns(as the link u showed the guy is now using 75 minute naps) or Da Vinci was known for using 15 minute naps every 2 hours.
It's all about finding what works for your body, and what your body needs.

^can u get some blood work done, in specific, your testosterone and cortisol levels?
The only bad thing ive heard about polyphasic is that it increases cortisol production, which lowers testosterone, and protein synthesis levels....which pretty much means, u get fatter, and lose muscle.
I googled, but I could only find info linking cortisol increase to R.E.M. -deprivation....which polyphasic doesn't do. I'm thinking that maybe some idiot jumped to conclusions and automatically thought polyphasic = r.e.m. deprivation.
the only way we'll be able to find out for sure, is bloodwork. :)

so get blood work done now and after? i just might.
I looked into that, and found some people did have more cravings then usual in several accounts when attempting the switch. However, these people also usually failed in their attempt to live in a polyphasic lifestyle. The most succesful people actually ate healthier, as (by their claims) the better food made for easier digestion, and left them feeling tired less often(and thus, not needing as much sleep)

this is going well... i couldnt get blood work done, but i got my body fat percentage done at the gym, so i figured ill be able to measure if i got fatter or not after a couple of months..
the hard part ive noticed has been the days after workouts... i usually need a longer nap... in those days, ive skipped the halfhour nap... and instead of a 90, taken a 180 minute nap during the next cycle to help compensate and im usually fine...

are you able to get the full amount of sleep for each cycle?
for example you might set out to sleep for 1.5 hrs but you might not fall asleep instantly and it might take you awhile
have you run into that problem and if so what do you do?

it happened when i first started out and the nap after ive overslept...
whenever im doing everything correctly, i fall asleep instantly. Ive never fallen asleep this easily actually. never takes more then 5 minutes id say.
