Banks the weakest out the group he never been in a legit battle. He stole Fabolous style too I want to see Dipset and G-unit go at it. The head n1ggas need to sit down and let the lil ones do it.

you definately haven't listened to any jr outside of his six minute freestyle to qualify your statement of he has jap'd since six min.
he had out three projects since then, no actually five since the six min actually really came about.
listen to wb 1-4, and hitm, again.

n!ggaz be non fact based like a motherphucker on sohh.com. next thing yall gon say is banks album was huff, and it wasn't at all. that sh1t is bangin and only got two really bad mushy songs on it. other than banks improved in every category, even his clarity which was really needed.

Banks changed his style 2 years 2 late
And yeh that fat Dominican was once a beast on the mic... but homeboy has had the same exact flow for the last 4-5 years. He peaked on WBIII. I'm a big JR fan but I think Banks has the edge over him, he's just more fresh and versatile.

He's light years ahead of Banks.

sorry, but for all the people dissing jr, even though the year is short. i guarantee lyrically it won't be to many people touching the boiler room that is writer's block iv. that sh!t is flames, and picks up and outdoes hitm, and wb iii. it picks up where wb ii left off as a quality release.
also, the banks album i guarantee you. there aren't any ny emcees, that skilled in songwriting. dude be killing it writing lil melodies to violins barely in the mix.
yall be fronting like a motherphucker. banks and jr, are one of the only few artist that actually take you back to dope emcees from yesteryears. as a matter of fact, everytime you get something new from them you have to note their improvements and modifications.
those two are dope, and don't get the recognition they should get.

wb iv is phuckin flawless for a mixtape with original music. all of banks and jr's sh!t is quality. i fail to see how people don't see that.

you can't say banks changed his style to late because that is a statement actually based on record sales.
if you take his poor sales this time,..........it's unjustified for a dude who sold double to have changed two years ago. two years ago, he was a new artist, and created a double plat draw.
if you bought his last album, and got his new one. as soon, as you spin that joint,....you banging for at least six, seven songs without a problem. then it just gets bad for a track, then its flames, then it gets mushy and returns to flames. his last album wasn't as focused as this one, and i felt his stuff on the first album was alright taking into account all the mixtape stuff, in the ground with ya n!ggaz which gets mention all by itself, and all the radio sh!t.
not to mention he had like two or three mixtapes of older stuff, on this album run. his major label shows his growth from even that stuff.
jr kinda disappointed me, with wb iii, and hitm because he did some different things content wise and style of production. in the overrall scheme that was cool, as well. but on wb iv he gets it completely right, and hopefully he keeps his albums with this format. wb iv, should have been hitm, personnally.

on the real, people are sleep on his actual way of crafting tones, and melodies from very lil.
on the low, he got one of the illest pocket/structured writing styles i have ever heard actually.
i have a lot of material from him, but on his major label stuff he goes next level. i actually wish he wouldn't even spit on other people's beats and make all original music mixtapes all the time, like it was his major album. if you are an emcee, it is a lot to learn from banks, good and bad. if you can figure out the good from the bad, its beneficial to you as an artist as well.

Writer's Block Vol 1 is better than anything G-Unit related outside of two of 50's albums, and that's debatable.

wb i and wb iv are his best, imo. but, the g unit series is the most cohesive mixtape series ever, imo as well.
the format of the radio series is just really well put together and gets better. imo, what it evolved into actually helped rap records and the whole industry as a whole.

banks got better songwriting, but after wb iv..........jr is catching up to a lot of people by improving his shortcomings

Bleh, I'm gonna have to give that watermelon head nicca a second listen. I saw the tracklisting for the second album, and it was just everything from the first one "part two". C'mon doggie. I do admit, he definitely had a much better delivery, but on the few listens I gave it, I just couldn't get into it. It was probably the beats.
jr kinda disappointed me, with wb iii, and hitm because he did some different things content wise and style of production. in the overrall scheme that was cool, as well. but on wb iv he gets it completely right, and hopefully he keeps his albums with this format. wb iv, should have been hitm, personnally.

I haven't heard WBIV...but what's wrong w/doing shyt different? The nicca came out rapping over silly samples...he was getting Heatmakerz throwaways for WBI and they didn't even mix his vocals right. But on WBIII he finally got the beats he deserved, and to me that made WBIII his best work yet. HITM tried too hard to sell... JR Writer does few things well, which is his gift and his curse. It works well if you like his shyt and he does a mixtape...it doesn't if you're a 14 y/o girl who probably listens to Jo Jo and 50 Cent...
