How come people still act like these diets are not dangerous? If I start lifting again I'll eat healthy, and five times a day, but I will not put so much emphasis on protein or use any supplements besides Ensure or Boost.

I mean I'm right, right? So why do people still throw all this junk in their body? I mean what's the point of serious lifting anywayz? I guess for me, it's just not worth it. I put health before appearance and strength. And I refuse to have bad kidneys or get cancer if I can do anything about it.

What is your opinion/knowledge of high protein diets? Are you aware of the dangers? Do u not believe the medical reports? Most people don't.

u stupid n*gger...u only get those kidney problems if u dont drink an adequate amount of water.

There are numerous Bodybuilders who have reached High-Ages, and still no problems.

Example - http://www.billgrant.net/

dude is almost in his 70s, and STILL jacked

the people who spread the "info" about how hi-protein diets r either fat and bald, or skinny f*ckwits who r 2 lazy to eat that much, and excercise, so because misery loves company, they spread the word 2 make erry1 else feel this way.

Most of their info is false/misleading.

For example...they'll use Arnold Schwarchenggers heart surgerys as an exampl...

but what they WONT tell u is his heart condition was GENETIC and hed have the problem regardless of whether he was a bodybuilder or not.

Low carb is under 100g to me. But when I was doing the ketosis thing I was under 30g and still had the energy to workout. I had a protein shake before I worked out and that usually carried me through.
